We participate in the Coffee NAMA because of the need to produce our coffee in an environmentally sustainable way. Additionally, in a few years a certificate of carbon neutrality and others will be a minimum requirement in order to place our product on European markets.

Coffee promotion
Thanks to our baristas who bring our coffee to international fairs and competitions we have been able to promote our product extensively. Our partners from Luis Eduardo Campos coffee mill who have years of experience have helped us in successfully placing our product.
Carbon and water footprint measurement
It is important to emphasize that the mill has been very focused on reducing its carbon footprint, which is why we have implemented automated combustion furnaces that greatly reduce the consumption of firewood. We also have an extensive process in order to recycle smoke by passing it through a sieve and reduce their contamination potential as much as possible. We have built 4,000 m2 of patios for sun drying, thereby reducing mechanical drying by a large percentage, at least at the level of pre-drying. Waster water is sprinkled on star grass. We apply efficient migro-organisms to all our coffee waste (biomass) to avoid odors, and promote its decomposition, avoiding plaques and other pollutants.
Energy efficiency
Our automated furnaces make coffee drying more efficient and greatly reduce the time span needed to complete the process. With this and our new sun-drying patios we have managed to significantly reduce our energy consumption.
