The NAMA Café trained over 100 coffee producers in the Los Santos region on Good Agricultural Practices and presented them the basic concepts of the initiative. The workshop is part of a series of workshops for coffee farmers in Costa Rica.

The NAMA Café Costa Rica aims to reduce GHG emissions and improve resource use efficiency at the level of both coffee plantations and coffee mills. These actions will create the first low-emission coffee worldwide and give Costa Rican coffee producers access to new markets. The NAMA Café receives technical and financial assistance from the NAMA Support Project (NSP), financed by the NAMA Facility and implemented by GIZ. The video shows first project achievements and was launched at SINTERCAFÉ in November 2016.
