Coffee promotion
We have participated in national and international coffee fairs and expos, as well as workshops and trainings in order to promote our low carbon coffee.
Carbon and water footprint measurement
We have actively participated in NAMA Café workshops on measuring our water footprint: recirculating and reusing water during processing, as well as measuring water flow and water consumption. We use ecological Penagos equipment in order to reduce our water consumption. As far as our carbon footprint is concerned, we have optimized energy consumption, and use residual biomass as organic fertilizer on our farm. We have also increased our drying area in order to sun-dry our coffee.
Energy efficiency
We have increased our available space for sun drying our coffee, reducing energy consumption.
Involving producers
We actively participate in workshops on Good Agricultural Practices in coffee farms, seeking to improve and optimize our coffee production.
