Visitors of the FAO´s International Symposium on Soil Organic Carbon in Rome, Italy enjoy a very special coffee during the three-day event: At the Café de Costa Rica´s stand they are served low-carbon coffee from five Costa Rican coffee mills participating in the NAMA Café.

During the three-day  symposium of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, that summons more than 300 experts from all over the world, the Costa Rica Permanent Mission to the United Nations offers low-carbon coffee from Costa Rica provided by ICAFE and GIZ. The coffee comes from the coffee mills Las Lajas, La Eva, Coopedota R.L., Agrícola El Cántaro and Coopetarrazú R.L. - all of them mills participating in the NAMA Café.  A showcase presents the results so far achieved by the NAMA Café in its combat against climate change.
